Brooklyn Boulderfest shot by the 🐐@jenniejariel Pretty special to be in a sport where I can walk out of a comp with photos taken by a team parent that's known me since I was ~13 yrs old (or maybe even younger when @bella.jariel and I first met?) Gotta love the team kid community #neverageout Looking forward to Boulderfest Grand Finale @minneapolisboulderingproject 🔜 There's a pretty incredible roster of athletes coming to compete, I'm psyched to see what the setters cook up for us! @boulderingprojects @lasportivana

Why waste my time if you were going to fire me anyway? I spent time putting together documentation for this first meeting to discuss the workplace conditions that violated @austinboulderingproject company policy, and then more time researching accommodations. I didn’t even get a chance to add that time to Paylocity. 😕 I hope no one else took credit for the ideas I sent via email. #ABPfiredCoachCristy

Not so fun fact: I was fired the same day Dolly Parton died. 🫠 #ABPfiredCoachCristy If you’re new here, check out the highlights on my IG profile to catch up on the chisme. No word from @boulderingprojects yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve already filed a complaint with EEOC to start the process. I don’t care how long it takes. YSK: This isn’t the PR/media campaign I mentioned in my first post. I have a pitch list for that. I’m also very well connected on LinkedIn and have not posted there either, nor posted in any of the mom/parenting groups or forums. I also haven’t shared any of the conditions or posted any calls-to-action from the public. 👉🏼 Why? Because I want to believe the actions of these individuals do not represent the views/culture of BP. I’m not trying to burn it all down, only shine a light on the toxic behavior tarnishing your brand’s reputation and killing employee morale. And it makes me wonder what else they’re hiding if HR is willing to hand me this lawsuit. I have a few theories. Unfortunately, until I hear back, I will keep sharing receipts. I was a Senior Editor at the top finance website in the world and have extensive experience putting together documentation for legal teams. I know how to cite my sources and collect evidence. And there’s a long list of disgruntled former employees who can corroborate everything else. Hey, I don’t like doing this either. I asked if I could appeal…

One of my favorite things about climbing is how many different disciplines and mediums there are within the sport. There are always weaknesses to work and new styles to try. I’ve found myself enjoying trying those styles that I’m bad at more now, friction slab, offwidth, indoor comp styles, and getting a kick out of failing. Participating in @seattleboulderingproject Boulderfest 2026 was a great time. I’m always surprised by how many incredibly talented climbers there are out there.
