Decovil is my absolute favourite interfacing when it comes to bag making!!! It’s extremely versatile and durable and the fact that it can be layered so easily makes it a winner in my books.

Tips:
- Use the heavier weight Decovil for this sturdy base.
- Be mindful not to have both pieces cover the whole base to reduce bulk in the side seams and corners.
- You must use a damp cloth and press for 6 seconds to adhere the Decovil and then it needs to rest for 30mins for the glue to completely adhere.

I am so excited about this bag! 🤩 It’s been on my project list for months and I’ve finally gotten around to it. This is just the main part of the bag and I’ve got more footage putting the lining in! 😍

This pattern is the @noodlehead531 Firefly Tote Bag and I’m not finished but I rate it 10/10. You can tell Anna put so much thought into the design and construction but also has amazing instructional videos to go along with the PDF instructions.

The showstopper print of this bag is from @clothcutsco designed by @tamsin.smyth called Rainbow clouds on canvas
Beautiful perfectly paired accent fabric is @melco.fabrics new poplin base designed by @erin__kendal called Fleur Flowers (Tangerine, cocoa brown, yellow, pink, pastel lilac)
