After nine incredible years Plymouth Design Forum is coming to a close.

What began in 2017 as a simple idea — to create a place where Plymouth’s creative community could connect, learn and celebrate design — grew into something far bigger than we could have imagined.

Some of the most respected names in design travelled to Plymouth to share their work, their thinking and their stories. @brody_associates . @marina_willer . @typeasimage . @kassiastclair . @anthonyburrill. @sarahboris_ldn. @katietreggiden.1 . @studiodotbuild . @moragmyerscough @katedawkinsstudio . @supermundane . @dixonbaxi . @dutchscot . @curious_captured_mj . @canarycarlo . @studio_sutherland . @jackrenwickstudio . @mdentonesq . @mchaloner . And many more.

Over nine years, thousands of people came through our doors. We welcomed some of the biggest names in design, created opportunities for emerging talent, and saw friendships, collaborations and careers grow.

But PDF was always powered by volunteers. Alongside careers, businesses and family life, keeping the Forum going for nine years has been an enormous commitment.

So, with a huge amount of pride, we’ve decided that this is our final chapter.

Nine years. Countless conversations. One remarkable community.

To every speaker, attendee, volunteer, sponsor (@gfsmithpapers , @alma_yard , @plymouthgin ) supporter and friend who helped make Plymouth Design Forum what it became — thank you.
