BOWIE FOREVER.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
David Bowie and his wife, supermodel Iman, owned a ninth-floor condominium at the JW Marriott Essex House located at📍160 Central Park South in NYC, living there from 1992 to 2002.

During their residency, the couple famously had a private panic room installed, which later owners subsequently removed and converted back into standard bedroom space.

A personal Yamaha grand piano owned and played by Bowie was left in the residence during subsequent sale listings over the years.

Another notable resident of Essex House was Russian-born composer Igor Stravinsky.

Lastly, famed musician Donny Hathaway jumped from a 15th-floor balcony at Essex House in January 1979, dying in an apparent s*****e.

🇯🇵tech/gnosis ‼️tokyo node‼️ 🐇🕳️ Solo Exhibition in Japan, co-curated Reiko Tsubaki and Alice Ko. In quantum mechanics, Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment concerning quantum superposition. In the thought experiment, a hypothetical cat inside a closed box may be considered to be simultaneously both alive and dead while it is unobserved, as a result of its fate being linked to a random subatomic event that may or may not occur. This experiment, viewed this way, is described as a paradox.
Approximately half of the 49 exhibited works are premiering in Japan for the first time! Featuring a surprising collaboration with cafe within Toranomon Hills.
