One thing I’ve learned from being an artist, promoter, and working behind the scenes in Colorado’s music industry is that sometimes the opportunity exists, but people simply don’t know where to find it.

We have talented artists, independent event producers, and communities building something special all over this state. But how do we make those resources more accessible to the next person coming up? How do we help artists get out of their own circles, discover new rooms, build real relationships, and find their people?

I want this to be a community-driven effort. Not just the biggest events or the ones with the most followers, but the rooms where culture is being built consistently.

If you’re an artist trying to find your community, an organizer creating space, or somebody who genuinely supports the scene, I want to hear from you.

Let’s connect the dots. Colorado has more going on than people realize.

DENVER WE HAVE TO DO BETTER 👌

🚨 13 Arrested in Aurora Internet Luring Operation Targeting Alleged Child Sex Crimes

Thirteen people were arrested following a multi-agency undercover operation in Aurora targeting adults allegedly seeking sexual encounters with minors, according to the Aurora Police Department.

The operation, called “SAFE Kids,” used undercover detectives posing online as minors. Police say planning began in May, with the undercover portion starting in mid-August.

According to APD, four suspects initially stopped communicating after learning the person they were speaking with was underage, but later reinitiated contact themselves.

Police say the 13 suspects ranged in age from 21 to 65, with an average age of 39. Two were already registered sex offenders. Investigators also reported that seven suspects arrived with sexual devices, while others allegedly brought ketamine, vodka or a firearm.

The suspects face various felony allegations, including internet luring of a child, attempted sexual assault of a child, patronizing a prostituted child and solicitation for commercial sexual activity with a child.

The operation involved Aurora Police along with the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Colorado Bureau of Investigation, FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.

The investigations remain active, and authorities are asking anyone with information about possible additional criminal activity involving the suspects to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).

All charges are allegations. Each defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
