I can’t believe it’s not butter!

It was an honour to lead the build of “the pit” for the upcoming feature film “The few who live” Directed and written by Jordan Dawson. @rutledgefilms @thejordandawson

I want to thank everyone who supported me and assisted me on the largest lead installation of my career. I’ve never happy cried harder over anything I’ve ever made.

Thank you to @artbyashleyf_ for hiring me on and trusting me through out the process. You have and continue to change my life. Thank you for being an amazing PD and creative partner.

Thank you @thejordandawson for giving me the opportunity with full support and room to experiment. Thank you for letting me use my bit of this bit of that method. You never doubted me during this process and I can’t tell you enough how much it all meant. I will forever be grateful for this chance to create. Let’s do it again some time :).

Thank you to the many crew members who kept me sane, brought me water, hung out while I painted, cheered me on and believed in my creation. I will forever cherish memories of friends/colleagues watching and chatting while I built this set.

Materials
- scrap wood

- Locally sourced mud and dirt
- Spray foam
- Spray paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, metallic mediums
And a whole lot more.

On this I did Carp, scenic art, fabrication, designs, art direction, set dressing, and more. With the help, support and belief of some pretty cool artists.

Cannot believe it's already been 1 year since we filmed Intoxxicated. Wanted to share some BTS from filming, before I knew just how important this film would be to me, and how I would still find a way to bring it up in almost every conversation a year later. Thank you @intoxxicatedshortfilm and thank you @bronwynmedia for always trusting me with your vision. Can't wait for many more films with our names sharing the slate🩷💜

Living with dystonia has definitely had its ups and downs. Being diagnosed with a neurological movement disorder at just 10 years old changed the direction of my life in ways I never expected. At times, it has been difficult to accept that my journey looks different from what society often expects—and it’s okay to acknowledge those feelings.
But opportunities like this remind me how grateful I am. I’m thankful to combine my lived experience with my background in social work and my passion for disability advocacy, education, and raising awareness.
It was an honour to be part of this special project, and I can’t wait to see the final result. Huge thank you to the amazing cast and crew for making this such a meaningful experience.

I still can’t believe it , Last week we wrapped on the production of RYLIE . A script I started when I was barely able to look at screens again after being bedridden for 6 weeks due to a severe long covid crash in the summer of 2025. I’ve spent that last 8 months training and prepping my cognitive, emotional and physical strength to be able to handle an intense 4-day shoot as I’ve not been able to since that crash. I’m happy to report that a week after the shoot my adrenaline dropout has not kicked me into a crash . Which is the sign of progress. I’m not out of the woods yet by any stretch but this is a huge milestone for me. ⛓️‍💥🙏🏼

Thanks to everyone on the amazing team especially @lukefmccutcheon , @lucaswurstlin , @krislaflamme , @thepizzapixie @michelaa_e for jumping in early on this. I’m beyond thrilled with what we shot. Massive thanks to @torontoartscouncil for supporting this project. And shout out to @thevintagehairdresser and @gregorypynn for the set visit!

This past weekend I got the incredible opportunity to shoot a short project that @pink_lava_lamp_fanclub and I have been writing for a really long time, and thanks to some absolutely incredible and dedicated people, the film is finally becoming a reality!

A massive thank you to my amazing crew and phenomenal talent who all put so much of their time and effort into making this film possible. We’re entering Post-Production now, but I just could not wait to post some behind the scenes stuff as a thank you to everyone who worked on this project.

You’re all amazing and I can’t wait for everyone to see the finished product!
