I’ve worked in the music business for close to 8 years now and while there are many low moments, every once in awhile you are reminded of why you put up with the lows in the first place. This song is one of those reminders for me; a song that hits you straight in the soul. Simple, effortless. Something that feels classic, like it’s always been here, yet also like it’s pushing the zeitgeist forward.

American singer/songwriter Sir Taegen Harris, known artistically as Love Spells, has released his new single online.

“Keep It to Yourself” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Google Music and all other digital streaming platforms.

It was written and produced by Harris alongside Danny Parra and Joseph “Boy Deco” Briggs, with Parra serving as recording engineer, Jon Castelli and Brad Lauchert as mixing engineers, Ruairi O’Flaherty as mixing engineer, and Jay Franco as assistant mixing engineer.

The song explores the desire to protect a relationship from outside interference and gossip. The lyrics center on recognizing that a sacred connection is meant only for the two people involved, and that bringing in outside opinions, break-up gossip, or drama can taint the bond.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Love Spells will release his debut studio album “Love is the Law” - featuring lead single “Crutch” - on 24 July via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.
