In memoriam of some of my favorite posts of all time from an account I had since I was 10. So many great memories on that account, like the first time I got rejected by someone over DM. Or the second time I got rejected by someone over DM. Or even the third time I got rejected by someone over DM. That account was there for me when I was writing fan fiction in the 6th grade and personally sending it to the celebrities it was about. The real ones remember when it was still @snailturtle168 💔. Gone but never forgotten.

Huge thank you to Boy in the Bubble 🫧 During my 4 years in college I attended so many Boy in the Bubble shows. They were my favorite sketch comedy group at IU. I was always inspired by their writing and performances and considered myself one of their biggest fans. I remember seeing Jonathon, Ana, and Max in a sketch a few months before shooting Who Murdered Professor Black? and thinking… wow, there’s my cast. I remember the moment I decided to cast AJ in Saving Ava- the day I watched him chug an entire 2 L bottle of Big Red on stage. They truly put on a show every time. Not only that, but Who Murdered Professor Black was fundamentally a “Boy in the Bubble Presents” movie with how many actors I took from the group. It is full of genuine amazing comedians, many of whom I’m still friends with to this day; and many I know will go on to do incredible things. There are so many others I wish I could have worked with directly in one of my projects but maybe one day. Long overdo post but BITB 4 Life.

Last semester recap so I’m gonna get a little cheesy real quick- the greatest thing I learned in my time at IU was the power of community. To know and love all of you is my definition of success. My lovely friends, you are the rose colored glasses I put on that help me see the world as it could be. To all of the people that keep me laughing and dreaming, I love you!

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!! Funny 501 is THIS WEEKEND and we are so excited to see all of you! Funny 501 is the only event where all of our wonderful groups come together to produce two nights of shows! Holy Cow!

Performances will be at 8pm on Friday April 17th and Saturday April 18th in Fine Arts 015! They are two completely different shows… so we’d love to see you at both!

Line ups and more fun posts are coming soon! Can’t wait to see you all there! 🙈😏

IFN Bloomington Hub Meeting – SHOW-n-TELL

Admission: Free and open to the public

The Indiana Filmmakers Network Inc. invites you to our monthly Bloomington Hub meeting, featuring a special “Show-n-Tell” evening. This event is an open networking opportunity for filmmakers, artists, and storytellers in Bloomington and Monroe County to connect, collaborate, and share current projects.

Attendees are encouraged to bring and present their creative work, including films, scripts, artwork, music, designs, equipment, or other media-related projects. Each presenter will have 5 to 8 minutes to showcase their work, followed by a brief Q&A session.

Whether you are looking for collaborators, working through a creative challenge, or simply curious about IFN and how to get involved, this event is designed to support and engage the local creative community.

The meeting will also include a roundtable discussion on future programming and opportunities, followed by an optional informal gathering at Big Woods.

This event is open to all individuals involved or interested in creative media, including filmmakers, writers, actors, editors, musicians, photographers, designers, and more.
