Türkiye’nin en genç sualtı fotoğrafçısı olarak ilk kez katıldığım bu şampiyona, benim için hem önemli bir deneyim hem de uzun yolculuğumda yeni bir adım oldu.

Her yarışmanın, her dalışın ve çektiğim her karenin beni bir sonraki seviyeye taşıdığına inanıyorum. Zaman geçtikçe çalışmalarımı daha ileriye taşımak, kendimi geliştirmek ve çok daha güçlü karelerle geri dönmek için yoluma devam ediyorum.

Bu süreçte üzerimde emeği olan herkese ve yanımda olan arkadaşlarıma,buddyim babama,aileme,değerli takım arkadaşlarıma sonsuz teşekkür ederim.

Bazı yüzlerin gülümsemek için yaratılmadığı çok belli. 😅🦎

Kertenkele balığı kumun üzerinde saatlerce kıpırdamadan durabilen bir pusu avcısı. Kuma ya da zemine neredeyse görünmez olacak şekilde uzanıp etrafı izliyor, avı yeterince yaklaştığında ise o pek de sempatik görünmeyen dişlerin neden orada olduğunu hatırlatıyor.

Ev? 🏡🐚
Keşiş yengeçleri hayatları boyunca ev değiştirir. Kendi kabuklarını üretmezler, başka bir yumuşakçadan boşalmış kabukları ödünç alırlar. Büyüdükçe eskisi dar gelir, bir yenisini bulup ona geçerler. Bazen sırayla dizilir, birinin çıktığı kabuğa öteki girer — sessiz bir taşınma zinciri.
Onlar için ev sabit bir mekan değil. Benim hayatımda da hiç öyle olmadı... Mekan değişir; çünkü biz değişiriz, hayatımız değişir...
Bu ufaklığın evi ise çoktan koca bir mahalleye dönüşmüş. Üzerinde barnacle’lar, türlü türlü canlı...
O yüzden denizden deniz kabuğu toplamıyoruz zaten. 🐚

Türkiye'nin İzmir / Sığacık bölgesindeki Teos House Reef dalış noktasında, kendi imkânlarımla Blackwater fotoğrafçılığı denemeleri yaptım.
