The past couple months have been some of the weirdest months of my life. A couple months ago I hoped by this time I would be further along with more security. I prayed for an opportunity to move and start a new season of life, but God planned instead for me to wait. Although this season has not been what I thought it would be, it has been such a blessing. As I wanted to be in a new place with new people, God instead put me back in a familiar place with a chance to deepen already existing relationships and friendships. I have been so blessed by the people around me and am grateful for God’s sovereignty in my life. I have also been blessed with some amazing opportunities on top of time to do what I feel God has put a passion in me to do. I am creating a lot behind the scenes and am excited to see what God does with my work. What a blessing it is to trust God and depend on Him. I don’t know how my life will look but I am grateful that I know the One who does. I praise God when my plans don’t work out, for He always has better for me, even when it doesn’t initially make sense. Thank you God for your presence that brings peace and security to all those who trust in You. LET THE WORLD SEE JESUS.

On July 23rd, I made the most defining decision of my life: choosing to give my heart and future to the Lord. Surrendering to Him brought a peace I had never known. On July 31st, I stepped into the waters of baptism to declare that old chapter closed, and that I have truly been made new again. Strong Rock Camp has been a life changing place and I am so eternally grateful for the friends and family I have made throughout the past 4 years. My counselors this summer have taught me so much about how to love like Jesus and to navigate the world through a strong christian mindset. Each lifeline we had was filled with so much joy pouring out of them and I am so thankful for the love they show everyone! Seeing God working through me and my friends is one of the most unforgettable experiences. Every year camp reminds me that this world is temporary, but His love is eternal. My time at @libertyuniversity has been such a blessing. Three years ago when I started here where I’m at now felt worlds away. I remember thinking about graduation and what I needed to do to make my time at Liberty successful. I prayed about it and God showed me that my time here would only be successful if I finished it with Him. This week God reminded me of that prayer as I was reflecting on the past couple years. As I crossed the stage yesterday and moved my tassel over like you do at graduation, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and peace in my Spirit. God has been so faithful and the fact that I am here, still in His hand is a testimony to it. Thank you Jesus for your kindness and your provision, you have been so good to me and have blessed me with amazing friends, opportunities, experiences, education, and so much more at Liberty. I pray that people see you in all that I do and that lives are changed through my faithfulness to you. Thank you for equipping me at Liberty University and for your guidance always. THANK YOU JESUS! LET THE WORLD SEE YOU.
