A powerful moment closing out an even more powerful day. 🙏🏾

The Arizona Legacy Center is more than a building. It’s a commitment to opportunity, ownership, community, and the generations coming behind us.

Honored to have a voice in this historic moment. The ribbon has been cut. Now the real work begins. 🖤

Thank you, Governor @katie4az, for spending time with the Black Chamber of Arizona and hearing directly from the businesses we serve. Your visit included conversations with Chamber leadership and a roundtable with business owners representing multiple industries across Arizona.

For us, this work is bigger than one event.

The Black Chamber of Arizona continues to strengthen businesses, elevate entrepreneurs, support employer firms and build partnerships that help expand economic opportunity across our state.

As Arizona’s Black business community continues to grow, so does the need for strong corporate, government and community partners willing to invest in the businesses creating jobs, building companies and contributing to Arizona’s economy.

To our current members and partners: thank you for growing with us.

To the businesses and corporations looking for meaningful ways to engage Arizona’s business community: there is room to build with us.

Special thank you to @srpconnect and @bpaunit for sponsoring this gathering.

A Legacy in the Making.

Today marked a powerful milestone for the Black Chamber of Arizona as we welcomed Governor Katie Hobbs for an exclusive preview of the new Arizona Legacy Center.

As Founding Chairman of the Board, it was an honor to stand alongside our President & CEO, Dr. Velma Trayham, fellow board members, community leaders, and distinguished guests as we shared the vision behind a space designed to create opportunity, strengthen our workforce, accelerate entrepreneurship, and build generational wealth across Arizona.

This moment represents far more than the opening of a building. It represents what is possible when leadership, business, government, and community come together around a shared vision for Arizona’s future.

And we’re just getting started.

Next stop: the official Arizona Legacy Center Ribbon Cutting on Friday, September 25. ✂️✨

Arizona thrives when we build together.
