Just over one month. ❤️☕️ It’s hard to believe we’ve already been open for more than a month. After everything it took to get here, there are still moments when we look around at a full shop, hear the espresso machine running, see familiar faces walking through the door, and think… we actually get to do this! To everyone who followed our story, encouraged us through the unexpected turns, showed up at a pop-up, grabbed coffee at the Little Theatre, shared a post, or has walked through our doors since opening: thank you. You’ve made this first month something we’ll never forget. We’re also incredibly grateful for our team. They stepped into something brand new, learned an incredible amount in a very short time, and continue to get better every day. More importantly, they’ve embraced what we want Waysetter to be: thoughtful coffee, genuine hospitality, and taking care of the people who walk through our doors. We couldn’t be more proud of them. And to everyone who supported our crowdfunding campaign before there was even a Waysetter to walk into, you helped make this place possible. ❤️ If you selected local pickup and haven’t grabbed your rewards yet, they’re still here! Stop into the shop anytime during our regular open hours and our team will get them for you. One month in, and we’re incredibly grateful for where this path has taken us, and even more excited about where it goes from here. Thank you for being part of Waysetter. Fuel the Flame. It was a beautiful Minnesota spring day. Feeling blessed to have a hard working husband who keeps trucking along, long after I make a pit stop.

Here is a short promo video I put together for my business. It has been a fun journey so far and I look forward to wherever it takes me in the future. If you know of any business or individual that would be interesting in having some custom woodworking done, please send them over my way. Thank you for keeping my dream alive and spreading the word. I appreciate you all! “Rebound” licensed via Music Vine: UCTGDLJ8PBTMLR14

New house=new decorations. I love to decorate for the holidays, but hate the cost of new decorations, so it’s been a blessing to have such talented friends. Stockings were made from discounted fabric from hobby lobby, and fabric napkins. All three were made for less then $30. (Instead of $30 a piece online) my Mama Sherry was so kind to see these up for me. •Stocking name tags were made by my good friend @the_artsy_armadillo . Check out her page, she does beautiful work for an even prettier cost. •These wooden trees are so cute. I saw these on line and they were around $80 (they were steel) my husband made them from scrap wood for the cost of scrap wood he had laying around the shop. Go check out his page. He is truly and artist. @bpearsoncustoms •we also made a new tree box from some left over plywood. #merrychristmas #christmastree #christmasdecor #christmasstockings #diychristmas #diytalentedhusband #talentedfriends #thegreatesttimeofyear

🎙 New @brewchatpodcast episode is out! It’s a little different type of BC episode featuring my buddy @bpearsoncustoms . He makes these incredible signs and designs out of wood (swipe to see). We talk about his journey from having this be a side hustle to now turning it into a business. ⁣ ⁣ Thanks Brady for giving me the tour of your space and showing me a bit of your process. And of course we enjoyed some beer! The Seabird IPA from @captainpabst1864 was a perfect addition to the wood shop tour 🍻
