When I went through recruitment, I thought I was just joining a sorority—what I didn’t expect was to find home. After hours of walking around in uncomfortable shoes, fake smiling, and pretending I wasn’t sweating through my dress, Chi Omega felt like a literal breath of fresh air. From the very first conversation, I felt like I could finally just be myself. Not the rehearsed version of myself, but the real, overly talkative, occasionally emotional version. And instead of judgment, I got laughter, hugs, and instant connections that felt like they were meant to happen. Chi O gave me a group of women who hype me up when I need it, check me when I need that too, and are always down for a spontaneous Chilis triple Dipper run or late-night heart-to-heart. It’s the place I go when I need a social life, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to tell me that yes, I can wear that outfit. It’s more than Greek letters or Insta pics—Chi Omega is the kind of sisterhood that sticks with you in every phase of life. And I’m so thankful I trusted myself when choosing Chi Omega. Choose once!
