POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Hi everyone!

Over the last year we’ve been working on our second album. It’s called Runners, the cover looks like this, and it’s out on 30 October via @braceyourselfrecords

It's really intended to be listened to in one sitting, but if you’d like a sneak peek before release day, you can hear three songs from it RIGHT NOW on your least-despised streaming service.

We wrote and recorded most of Runners at our rehearsal space in Cable Street with our friend @markmarketstall as engineer and co-producer. We were joined on the record by the string quartet @amaliayoung_ , @gwynethnelmes, @freyahicks and @ramilda.xx, as well as @heather_roche on bass and contrabass clarinets. Our friend Rob Winter mastered it with Henry and Sam at a top secret location we will never reveal.

There’ll be three editions of the album: black vinyl, CD, and an “ice blue” coloured @dinkededition which comes with a bonus 7" and art print and will be available from selected independent record shops. We are massive fans of physical music and real-life record shops in particular so we ACTIVELY encourage you to buy from them if you can.

There’ll be a few events around the release if you’d like you to join us.

On 28 October, there'll be an online listening party on @bandcamp, where we'll stream the album in full and you can ask us questions in the chat while you listen. Or not. We'll post a link nearer the time.

On 29 October, there'll be a free-to-attend in-person listening party at @woodstbear in Walthamstow, where we'll be playing Runners in full straight from vinyl. Sam will be playing some records afterwards that influenced the album. Thanks to Simon and @__decca__ for letting us take over!

Then, on 4 November, we'll be playing an intimate show at a new venue in East London (located at 7 Church Lane, E11 - about 1 minute from Leytonstone Tube). It will be the first week of the venue and the name and details will be announced very soon. Afterwards, we will be taking to the decks playing a load of music we like. Thanks @mrtobyl for asking us to play.

In February and March we'll be on tour, but more details on that to come.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy what you hear. The Front Cover of Runners By Dog Unit. It is a picture of Dawson's Heights, close up and at an angle. The building is against a blue sky.
