We bring you the first contest of this year’s Mythical Jam event! Continuing the theme from previous years, this is your chance to design your own Animal Jam Alpha to represent your chosen team.
Please note that the winning designs will not be incorporated into the game or utilized in any way other than to feature in the Winners Announcement. Prizes will be sent to the winners in early September after the conclusion of the event. Good luck and have fun!

Mythical Jam 2026 has arrived!

✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧ ⭒˚.⋆ ꒰ა ★ ໒꒱ ⋆˙⟡ . ✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧

Mythical Jam is a fun community event created by Jambassadors, encouraging a friendly competition between the year’s newest mythical creatures in Animal Jam! The event first launched in 2024, when the original two mythical creatures arrived!

✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧ ⭒˚.⋆ ꒰ა ★ ໒꒱ ⋆˙⟡ . ✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧

Throughout September there will be Instagram contests run by the 12 Jambassadors (tagged) apart of each team! These contests will have special prizes provided by AJHQ! There will also be team Pack Runs in Animal Jam, both of these scores will attribute to final results! This is NOT a popularity contest, the winner will be determined by hard work!!

✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧ ⭒˚.⋆ ꒰ა ★ ໒꒱ ⋆˙⟡ . ✩₊˚.⋆ ✦ ⋆⁺₊✧

In 2025, both pack run teams were created at the beginning of September, and ended the month with both teams at over 1 million points, putting both our Mythical teams on the all time leaderboard just from this one-month long event alone! This event has also
accumulated over 1000+ instagram posts
from the community!! So we are excited to see what this year awaits! Which team will you be on? Team Phoenix or Team Kistune?! #MythicalJam

💫🌟 — I wanted to talk about the horrendous Animal Jam decision of releasing the Alpha Training Mat in the Phantom Emporium and spread awareness on how harmful this choice actually is. We have to use our voice as their players to stop this from happening, or at the very least, stop it from ever happening again.

I can’t believe TiR is almost done! I’ve had such an amazing time in the year and a half I’ve worked on it and I’m honored to get to make the cast and crew ensemble portrait! You all are such talented and kind people, im so glad I got to work with you all! Big thanks to @pauliv0ri for being a great leader and a great friend. It’s been so cool to see your story come to life! I’m honestly a bit sad that the project is coming to its conclusion as it’s been a big part of my creative life for the past year and has been a huge motivator for me to keep creating, but I look forward to working with you guys again someday! ❤️ although there have been some twists and turns, the way we’ve all been able to adapt and keep working to make this happen has been inspiring and truly special. I’m so grateful for the time I’ve spent here and all the friends I’ve made through it! 💖im hyped to see how the final episode turns out, i know it’ll be amazing! Special thanks as well to Heavenmercy, th3phoenix, quackk, Cyan, and Argodargo who aren’t tagged but are on the portrait! ♥️
