CINDY was recognized with three awards and a nomination at the
11th GI Film Festival of San Diego.

Best Narrative Short
Best Actor (Jasmine Kim)
Best Film Directed by a Veteran
Nominated for Best Actor (David Vaud)

Thank you @kpbs for creating this community for military & veteran stories to exist. I’m honored to be apart of it.

Grateful for our Cast & Crew, always.
If I did a good job at directing, it’s because of them. You’re only as good as the people you surround yourself with. 🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️

Being surrounded by so many powerful films and documentaries about service, trauma, sacrifice, and healing was deeply inspiring, and I’m grateful to have been part of it. Blessed to have met and connected with so many passionate filmmakers/veterans sharing their own personal stories, and others committed to shedding light on veteran stories.
I hope to share my story and experiences in the military one day. Sitting in a packed theater to have a communal experience is special. It will always be the most powerful way to share this art form.

This one is special to me in the most personal way. I didn’t get here alone.

There is nothing more special than watching your husband pour his heart into something and see it recognized.

I am so incredibly proud of my husband. “This Is My Rifle”, written by Brad, received 8 nominations at the NOVA Film Festival, including “Best Actor” for Brad and winner of “Best Drama.”

It was such an honor to bring this story to life alongside him as co-director, and to share a “Best Director” nomination together.

Meet the characters of This Is My Rifle.
Five people, all connected by war, trauma, and the fight to find their way back home.

This film isn’t about combat.
It’s about what happens after; the ghosts that follow you, the bonds that keep you alive, and the moments of truth that finally break through the silence.

Tomorrow, our short film releases publicly.
I’m proud of this one. Proud of the story, proud of the cast, and proud of the veterans whose real experiences inspired it.

If you’ve ever known someone who served…
If you’ve ever watched someone struggle quietly…
If you believe art can heal even when it hurts to speak…

This film is for you.

Great opportunity this weekend with the some of the @physiqacademy team and clients doing the NYC skyline race.

My client @bradabing first ever 10km run let alone race and he crushed it! Having been running at 11-12min/mile previously he crushed it running 9:30miles amazing work. I could not be more proud of him for this achievement! Incredible.

Massive shout out to my client Adam who crushed the 5km race and to:
@michaelrosen2 for finishing 2nd in his age catagory in the 5km
@zaynephysiqueacademy for finishing 2nd in the 10km for his age group and 10th over all
@georgearmstrong who for such a tank ran a 1:40 half marathon and finished 10th over all.

What a day! Also massive congratulations to all other Physique Academy clients who crushed the race and performed amazing!

✨Another year around the sun ✨

My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy. Thank you for every text, post, FaceTime, and call. I am truly humbled by the outpouring of love. Your kindness brought me to tears all day and reminded me how deeply blessed I am to be surrounded by such beautiful souls. 💕

This birthday reminded me of the simple miracle and beauty of life. All I wanted was to snuggle my family on my birthday, and it turned out to be so much more. I am grateful to be feeling good, walking in health, and surrounded by love that moves me to tears. 🥹

And my husband, @bradabing. Ten years in and still my sweet alien. He even tried to wake up at 3:00 a.m. to set everything up (I made him go back to sleep!), then spent the day spoiling me and feeding this foodie all my gluten-free favorites: Key lime pie, crab cakes, lobster mac & cheese, and even a Chicago deep dish, lovingly flown in so I could enjoy every bite without worry. I’m so grateful for his heart. 🥹💖

Thank you all for reminding me that I am held in so much love. My prayer for this year is to carry that love forward, to continue to honor my health, and to cherish every laugh, every hug, and every moment to its fullest.

What a beautiful whirlwind of a week at Dance Teacher Web, surrounded by some of the best of the best! I loved every moment. From expanding my knowledge and growing as an educator, to helping fellow studio owners navigate their journeys and having the honor of speaking on stage to share my story. Battements at the Bellagio, Michael Jackson ONE, Vanderpump à Paris, Hell’s Kitchen, an unforgettable dinner at Hakkasan, and a little poolside recharge all wrapped into one incredible experience of learning, leading, and connecting with such inspiring hearts. My cup is full 🩷
