Today I am 30 years old. There is a new Infinitefreefall song from our upcoming album “Cursed Object” out today called “Living Through the End of the World”. I used to think my generation was the only one who had to struggle through endless crises and threatened end times. But the more I ruminated on it, I realized that the looming specter of apocalypse is probably one of a handful of things that have been ever-present through world cultures for centuries, a fear cyclically re-realized and re-capitalized on by successive generations; An unexpected uniting force! As life has changed, the world always seems to be ending and beginning, and I have no doubt it will continue to do so, with or without us. That’s not to say it’s not worth fighting for, just to acknowledge a struggle that is more universal than we may realize. Today I am endlessly thankful for all of my deeply supportive friends and family; Most of all, Loren, who is my rock, confidant, collaborator, and best friend. Every day I get to be in love with her, I’m aware I’m living out my dream. I feel so fortunate to make art with her and the rest of the wonderful friends in our ensemble, and genuinely, everyone who I’ve gotten the opportunity to collaborate with and know. You guys all improve my life every day! We have some super fun shows with our friends scheduled for this summer in Charleston, starting this Saturday at @theroyalamerican, continuing July 2nd at @chspourhouse, and culminating in two nights at @rebeltaqueria on July 31st & August 1st. We are really excited for what we have to share — Please come out if you can! Most of all, thank you to everyone who’s listening. I say it a lot, but it really does mean the world. “Living Through the End of the World” by Infinitefreefall Maxton Stenstrom @infinitefreefall: vocals, guitar, synth, production, mixing, art Loren Jolley @lounge.wolf: synth, backing vocals Bradley “Beard” Simmons @bradbayou: bass Shawn Krauss @shawnonanon: drums, tambourine Joshua Jay @cool.settings: guitar, synth Preston Dunnavant: mastering LP4 CURSED OBJECT arrives 7/31/26
