This week we’ve been celebrating National 4-H Week! 🍀💚🍀

Being able to reflect and celebrate an organization that continues to give young people across our state the confidence, experiences, and opportunities to grow into a leader.

This week, our Louisiana 4-H State Officer Team had the opportunity to take over TWILA and share just a glimpse of what makes 4-H so special from leadership and service to finding your voice and becoming 4-H Beyond Ready 🍀.

4-H has impacted my life in ways I’ll carry with me forever, and I’m grateful to help share that same opportunity with people across the state of Louisiana. I’m grateful for the friendships made, the relationships formed and the opportunity to look forward to more together!

Being on Homecoming court one last time with the sweetest girls was genuinely a blessing. So happy and proud of everyone who participated or helped in any way.

Last week, we held the state Louisiana 4-H University Advisory Committee! We talked about assemblies, speakers, contest and everything that makes 4-Hu successful.

Joining from Executive Board was Braden, State Parliamentarian, Cy, Central Region Representative, Katie, Central Region Representative, Luke, Southwest Region Representative. I am proud of each of them for serving on the committee and giving very insightful and purposeful feedback.

Another important aspect on the committee was our state leadership boards representatives in attendance. All leadership boards members shared questions and suggestions and how their board would best fit into every decision. I am grateful to see and feel the advocacy within this group. The mission continues, to make the best better and advocating for youth development programming through Louisiana 4-H.

The Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame Ceremony was an amazing way to kick off our first event as a State Officer team!

We were so honored to participate and host the 2026 Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame Inductees, Families and Friends. Reading and getting to know the Inductees reminded us all of the dedication and commitment that it takes to champion youth development programming especially through 4-H. The mission remains the same as it did years before, MAKE THE BEST BETTER! 🍀💚🍀

This camp has been so good to our campers and counselors. 4H camp will always hold a place in my heart. I’ve had such an amazing time going to camp and meeting different people from across the state. Week 9 holds such amazing memories from line dancing in the Martin building to the JC’s requesting a jig circle!! I can’t wait for the next 2 years to come!! #week9 #dontletwhiteboycatchavibe #bestJCsoat

Not too long ago, I was looking up to the Louisiana 4-H Executive Board. This week, I got to sit at the table with them as YOUR Central Region Representative.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to help plan this year’s events, get to know my new family, and serve an organization that’s given me so much over the years. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!! 🍀 🤍 ✨
