Shoutout with appreciation and thanks to @bradhefferon @glenravennursery for all the seed starting that you did for us. We rolled up our sleeves and put on our knee pads and got to work planting in the rain. Great gardening day today. Thanks so much Brad!!! #fromseed #seedtoplant #saltspring #saltspringisland #saltspringislandbc #saltspringislandflowers #saltspringflowers #salpiglosis

Nothing beats food this fresh. Just enough asparagus for our family dinner with island lamb, and local ribeye from @southendsausage, and our own asparagus. It was so good. 🤤

After 4 days without water, frozen supply pipes and a relentless cold snap that we (BC) just weren’t prepared for, our plumber and contractor have come through with a temporary solution. 500 gallons won’t last forever, but dishes, laundry and a couple of quick showers will sure feel nice. So much gratitude for the trades who always take good care of us 🙌

Never a dull moment here at the farm. 7 days in, and we’ve managed to tear up a good bit of the land around the house, expand the garden size to allow for cut flowers and more veggies this year (stay tuned), improve drainage around the workshop, get drywall patched and painted in the studio and laundry room, AND still made time to relax! And now, it’s back to school tomorrow 🥳🎉🍾
