So thankful for these three young men…what a joy to be in church with them remembering not so long ago when Bruce and I were the tall ones (Bruce’s attempt to reach their heights still came up short)…proud of the men they are becoming and their pursuit of God…couldn’t be more thankful to grab a pic on the last Sunday before Jackson is a married man…Jackson, Noah & Bradley - we love you with all our hearts❤️❤️❤️

It's National Sons Day💙💙💙

Three boys, three completely different personalities, and a whole lot of years of sports, noise, food, laughter, chaos, conversations, prayers and moments I wouldn’t trade for anything.

I’ve always said God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave me all boys. I have LOVED raising sons. And now, one of the coolest parts is getting to know them not just as my boys, but as the men they’re becoming.

Jackson, Noah & Bradley, I’m obviously proud of you, but more than that, I genuinely LIKE you. I love hanging out with you, laughing with you, talking about life with you and getting a front row seat to wherever God takes each of you.

And apparently God knew I didn’t need to raise girls…I just needed to wait for my girls to come later🩷! I’m pretty excited about gaining a daughter-in-law and maybe, one day, getting some grandbaby girls to spoil💕.

But being a boy mom? That will forever be one of my favorite things God chose for me.

Happy National Sons Day to my three favorite boys💙💙💙!

Still not over this day....thank you to all our family and friends who celebrated the soon to be married Jackson & Ashley ❤️❤️

Seeing 21 + years of answered prayers right in front of my eyes is something I can't put into words.... I'm really speechless and that's unusual 🤣

Thank you @nathaliedaniella_ for capturing these moments and so many more for us🫶🏼

My Senior… leading the fall ball players in prayer before the game🥹.

More than watching him play ball, I’ve loved watching him become a young man who loves Jesus, is bold about his faith, freely worships, prays for people, and isn’t afraid to be different.

His faith is his own. It shows up in the way he lives, the way he loves people, and the way he leads.

I’ll always love watching him play, but who he is becoming off the court is the best part🤍! #senior2027

Trinity…50 years! From the beginning in 1976 to the present (2026), my life tapestry has threads of Trinity Church woven deep into its fabric. Here I was forgiven by Jesus, experienced human forgiveness and learned much about the freedom that comes when I forgive others. The Trinity DNA - part of my legacy! I am so very grateful!

50 years of Trinity Church🤍

We came here when Jackson was six months old, and almost our entire family story has happened here.

My boys grew up here. Went to school here. Found their gifts here. Met some of their best friends here. Met the girls they love here and one will soon marry the girl he met here🥹

This church was my village while I raised them.

I’ve celebrated some of the best moments of my life here, and I’ve cried out to God at these altars in some of the hardest moments of my life.

I’ve watched Him answer prayers exactly as I prayed them and I’ve watched Him answer others very differently than I begged Him to.

Through all of it, I wanted my boys to see that God was still good, even when life hurt like hell. I didn’t always get it right, but I tried to keep showing up, keep worshiping, keep praying, and keep pointing them back to Him.

That was the legacy I hoped to leave them.

Legacy is one of Trinity’s core values, and for years the picture beside that value was a picture of my boys. That always meant more to me than I could probably explain.

And now I get to watch those same boys live out a faith that has become their own ...loving God, loving people well, serving, leading, and pouring into others. What a gift to see some of the things prayed for at these altars being lived out in their lives.

Happy 50th, @trinity_online🤍!

Thank you for being our church, our village, and such a huge part of our story. And now, as I look toward the next 50 years, I’m grateful for the story God is still writing, for the people beside me, the generations coming behind us, and a church I pray will keep pointing them to Jesus long after we’re gone.

Somehow, this still feels like yesterday💙💙💙

And yet, life looks so different now.

This season is a lot for someone who already feels everything deeply😂. I’m not complaining about that. I embrace the way God made me. I love deeply, care deeply, celebrate big, cry easily, and probably feel the ordinary moments a little more than most.

And right now, I’m feeling ALL of it!

My firstborn is about to become a husband, my middle is running a business and crushing adulting, and my baby is starting his senior year. After so many years of raising boys, I can feel this chapter of my life changing right in front of me.

Maybe that’s why I’ve realized I need a filter for this season, for what gets my heart, mind, time, and energy.

Spiritually: Is this drawing me closer to Jesus and helping me become more like Him?

Mentally: Is this worth the space I’m giving it in my mind? Is it helping me be present for the people who genuinely want to share life with me?

Physically: Am I caring for my body in a way that helps me feel strong, healthy, and able to enjoy this season?

Life is changing, and I don’t want to give so much of myself to what I can’t control that I miss what’s right in front of me.

Every celebration. Every ordinary moment. Every last and every first.

So that’s my filter for this season:

Closer to Jesus.
Healthier in my mind.
Stronger in my body.
Present for my life and the people who want to share it with me.

Whatever season you’re in, maybe it’s worth asking yourself too: What deserves my heart, my mind, my time, and my energy in this season?
