Did you know, the companies making BILLIONS of dollars a year on sports betting are smarter than compulsive gamblers? Especially degenerate gamblers like myself. They know how to suck you in to their evil scheme. I used to think I was smarter than they were. I was opening accounts to get their “bonuses” and free match bets. I would make deposits to get their matches and say to myself that I wouldn’t deposit anything else. Of course I was lying to myself. Then, when they have you, they know how to keep you. Can you believe I had the audacity to think I was “someone” because I had a VIP Rep contacting me and offering me free stuff? I felt like a Baller and could impress my friends. The first pic was me and some buddies at a NASCAR event last year. I was “gifted” these tix because of being a loyal VIP customer. I know I look like I was having fun but I was constantly checking scores and making bets to win back lost money. I remember that day I lost over $10k but managed to keep a smile on my face because I was a VIP guest and could impress people. In my mind I was a complete shit show. I wanted out of the grip gambling had on me. I wanted to feel peace and be able to breathe. I longed for a good night’s rest where I wasn’t constantly thinking about betting and being so pissed at myself for what was happening. I wanted to sleep and never wake up…… I literally was in hell. Fast forward to today, almost 9 months sober from betting and in box seats again. This time enjoying the game with my best friend and not thinking about scores or where the action is for betting. I can breathe finally and have begun to enjoy life again. For other addicts out there, there is HOPE. There is a path forward. It starts with admitting you have a problem and that you can’t do it alone. Make today be that day. You can do it! Let me help you. You need someone you can confide in. It is so freeing being able to get all the shit off your chest and breathe again. Much Love🤟🏻 #onedayatatime #breathe #gambler #addict #compulsivegambler #hope #recovery
