Brad Barritt | England Entrepreneurs

“Don’t ask someone to do something you wouldn’t be prepared to do yourself"

When doing research on Brad this quote kept on appearing in various interviews he had done, and this ethos was clear while creating this small look into what players get up to post playing career. Big thanks to @bradmbarritt for letting us tell this story.

Enjoyed bringing this to life immensely for @englandrugby and thanks as always to the team at @moonsport_ 🫶 Give it a watch on England rugby YouTube channel.

In the latest episode of England’s Entrepreneurs by @englandrugby, our founder, @bradmbarritt, shares how years in professional sport shaped his entrepreneurial journey.

While most people only see the 80 minutes on the pitch, rugby involves a surprising amount of downtime. Brad used that time to study, learn from those around him and prepare for life beyond the game.

Inspired by teammates, Chris Wyles and Alistair Hargreaves, building their own brewery, Wolfpack Lager, Brad saw an opportunity to create something of his own. Tiki Tonga works across B2B, E-Commerce & Retail, with a footprint in 3 continents!

Watch the video to hear how the lessons, relationships and experiences from Brad’s sporting career led to everything Tiki Tonga Coffee Roasters is today.

Former Kearsney College boy Brad Barritt recently featured on the Ikigai Mentorship Podcast with Zukile Ncube, sharing his journey from growing up in Durban to becoming an international rugby leader.

Brad reflects on his journey from primary school, arriving at Kearsney as the only boy from his school and how rebuilding himself in a new environment shaped his resilience and leadership. He also touches on his South African rugby roots and the experiences that helped define his successful career.

A powerful conversation on growth, identity, and stepping outside your comfort zone.
