Text: Madu Abeysekera Foto: ZDF #hardtechno #metoodj #bradnolimit #openbeatz

The d4vd case is still unfolding, but it forces a bigger conversation about the industry around young fans, backstage access, and who gets protected. This is not new. People raised concerns about Sean “Diddy” Combs for years, and the machine kept moving. Live Nation Productions even partnered on Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story, a documentary that helped package and amplify his legacy. That matters because the industry does not just sell tickets. It creates access, image, trust, backstage culture, and public credibility. Go back to the early 2000s rave scene. Many events were all-ages. Photographers had wide access. Backstage and photo culture were not always tightly monitored. Even old online discussions about that era raise uncomfortable questions about who had access to young attendees. So when a case like d4vd surfaces, the question is not just “what did one artist do?” The question is: Who knew what? Who kept doing business? Who protected the brand instead of the vulnerable? Because silence, access, and business-as-usual can become part of the same machine. @bradnolimit

Avaion has taken to his social media with a story post.. “I am deeply shocked by the allegations made against me. The situation is weighing heavily on me, and I am aware that many of you are expecting a statement. I will respond to the allegations, but l ask tor your understanding that I must first take legal steps. Thank you very much for your patience.” Avaion is expected to respond publicly at a later stage.
