POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Coming home after a long day way up an inlet, I’m getting close to port when a text comes through:

“We see you. We’re on the right.”

I’m looking toward shore thinking they must be watching me make my way home across the strait.

Then another text…

“No, we’re right here.”

I look over—and there’s my family, out on the pedal kayaks catching the night bite.

Sometimes the best part of an adventure is what’s waiting for you at the end of it.

It's a good life. 🤙

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out to fish and helped us raise funds for local salmon enhancement. Your generous support is critical to support the Nootka Sound Watershed Society and help conserve the beautiful wildlife of the Nootka Sound area.

Congratulations to Kerry Butler who finished first with a 22 pounder, and Dale Brandback who took second and third a place with a 21.2 pound and a 20.8 pound Chinook!

Kailey McCormick took home the Under 16 prize for a 19.2 lb Chinook! Well done!
