I could’ve died getting this shot.

After @knightmvolleyball won the national championship, we raced to catch them when we heard they made a stop at Cook Out. I could see this shot form in my mind. Although, it wouldn’t hurt to get something to eat too.

I had to act fast, so I grabbed my Nikon Zf which had a manual focus 40mm lens on it. We grabbed the guys as they were on their way out. I told @jimbo10slice : “We gotta get this shot.” Naturally the whole team came ready.

So I made a snap decision and walked out into the street, which was actually a highway, quickly dialed in the focus and snapped the whole team. I did get honked at.

As the team got up @christiansheaffer asked me if I got what I needed and so I asked him if I could get one of just him with the trophy.

Oddly enough, this is one of my favorite moments from that night. Sometimes magic just happens.

Big shoutout to @nikonusa and @cookout 🫶🏻
