Become comfortable being uncomfortable. Eventually, what used to feel hard just becomes your game.

That’s the point of training at GLE. We challenge players with game-speed reps, tighter windows, quicker decisions, and situations that push them outside what feels easy so they’re more prepared when those moments show up in competition.

Don’t waste your warmup.

Build rhythm.
Dial in mechanics.

Because the first 15 minutes often determine the next 60.

Why do we ALWAYS start shooting class with single-arm shooting?

A lot of players begin their shooting sessions by standing on the crease or cranking shots from 20 yards out.

Both have value. But neither forces you to slow down and focus on the details:

• Balance
• Body mechanics
• Stick control
• Power transfer
• Accuracy

Taking one hand off the stick exposes everything.

Players have to use their legs, core, hips, shoulders, and wrists correctly to generate power without losing control.

It also helps reinforce:

• Pointing with the lead foot
• Keeping momentum behind the shot
• Getting the hips involved
• Understanding how the stick is releasing that day

Because your mesh, pocket, and head are always changing.

We slow the shot down first, so we can speed it up the right way!
