SALT 1 🧂

i can’t even put to words all that the Lord did the past three weeks. what a blessing it was to know truly about love, honoring, and serving and knowing that because Jesus did it first! All the glory to him!! It is all his doing. I am so beyond grateful for all the people he sent who poured so deeply into me the past weeks. truly truly unforgettable.

1242! Home for just 3 weeks, but still home! I can’t even begin to describe what the past 3 weeks has meant to me. The past few weeks have no doubt been the best of my life. It was hard, I can’t lie about that, but it was hard in the best way possible. My brain is rewired, I go about certain things differently, and most of all, I learned to find joy in ALL of it! Because, here’s the reality- our life on 🌎 isn’t about our life on 🌎!!! Everything we do revolves around eternity. It’s never about WHAT you do, but WHY you do it.

Love. Honor. Serve. The thing they say over and over to you at Woodlands, but it has changed my life! My perspective on those 3 things in life has been completely flipped around. Real honor and service start with a ❤️ that’s willing to love. We spent a whole month turning our eyes from what the world says about how we should live and fixed our eyes on how the Bible says we should live! “God is more glorified through us when we are most satisfied in Him!” -John Piper ❕❕❕Follow & serve the Lord, not your deceiving heart! Follow the perfect example of Jesus. Do everything in light of eternity! Do everything for the cause that matters!

&&&&& I can’t go without bragging on the 17 other brothers and sisters I had the opportunity to serve with! 🫂 I have been so blessed by the community and friends they are to me. We laughed, cried, did so many trash runs, served so much food (including ham iykyk), and so much more together. Safe to say we got pretty close pretty quickly! Thank you JESUS for my new life long friends!!! 💖🤸🏼‍♀️👯‍♀️☺️

Even though I’ve left Woodlands (temporarily) it truly will never leave me. I am immensely grateful for 🧂and the things the Lord taught me! So long 1242!!! I’ll be back before you know it 🥹🥹🥹

What a blessing it was to spend 3 WEEKS serving at Woodlands Camp!!!! The Lord graciously opened the door for me to be in this program and gently guided me every step of the way. Looking back, I can only stand in awe of His kindness, faithfulness, sovereignty, and rich mercy. 🌈🏔️🤸🏻‍♀️✨

These past three weeks felt both endless & fleeting. A reminder that our lives are but a vapor, yet every moment carries ETERNAL weight. Every conversation, act of service, and opportunity to love was another invitation to become more like Christ through the work of sanctification. 🌷

SALT taught us to LOVE! HONOR! SERVE! ♥️ To die to ourselves daily and serve with gladness. Every trash run, food line, late night, & long shift became an opportunity to pour ourselves out for others. ☕️ Yet the Lord faithfully filled our cups again and again through His presence & through the beauty of community.

One of the sweeeeetest gifts was watching the Lord reveal Himself so personally & intentionally in the lives of campers. Every testimony was a glimpse of His nearness, every salvation a reminder that He is still bringing dead hearts to life. Sitting in on salvation nights and witnessing students encounter the love of Christ left me undone. There is no story more beautiful than the Gospel, no greater love than the One who bore our ransom, & no sweeter name than Jesus. 🫧

Through tired feet & long days, the Lord was my strength. What a joy it was to be exhausted in service. What a privilege it is to spend your life making much of the One who atoned for the sins of the 🌎!!!!!

His Word proved sweeter than 🍯, more valuable than treasure 💎, lamp to my 👣, & a💡to my path! In His presence, there is fullness of joy. In His truth, we find freedom. In His Word, we learn to abide. 🤸🏻‍♀️ Wisdom begins with the end in mind, & eternity matters far more than anything this world could offer.

Jesus, You alone. Never let me lose my awe of Your splendor, majesty, and breath-taking beauty. You know me, You search my heart, and still You call me Your own.

To God be all the glory! OH HOW I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Wisdom begins with the end in mind.

These past three weeks have truly been such a blessing. Getting to know 18 new people that have become some of my best friends in such a short time has been amazing. Getting to serve three weeks of woodlands camp between food and trash runs was difficult in the way we pushed our bodies to the physical, mental and spiritual limit but rewarding because we serve for a greater purpose that is bigger than ourselves. Getting to get poured into through sessions, huddles, and 1 on 1’s were truly life changing. Thank you to woodlands for this UNFORGETTABLE opportunity.

what an absolute JOY it was to spend 3 weeks with my new best friends! each and every moment spent at SALT was carefully curated to pour into every individual that served over the past few weeks & press into intentionality, vulnerability, and a peace & joy that only the Lord can provide! there aren’t enough words to express how grateful I can for such an impactful experience and BEAUTIFUL fellowship. we are so incomplete without the the acceptance of Christ’s immeasurable and perfect love in our hearts! I have learned what it means to love, honor, and serve with a joyful spirit that can only be replicated by following the example Christ has set before us! taking the lowest seat at the feet of Jesus, who so humbly suffered for our salvation. “make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.” -philippians 2:2 our purpose is to glorify God as “his workmanship” (ephesians 2:10) because we were created with intention, and He equips those He calls! thank you Jesus for such a beautiful experience filled with perfect splendor!

This year was definitely one for the books. The people who I was scared to live with soon became my best friends. Now the people who made Piedmont a home has a permanent place in my heart! Love each of you!
