•The little things in the big moments•

@pictureslikepoetry absolutely KILLS it with the detail shots, so I had to dedicate a post to these!! Read below for a description of the different shots & why each moment was special

Slide 1: elijah and I holding hands as we’re being announced man and wife for the first time!!
Slide 2: my mom helping me get ready (she handmade the veil) & me helping my little sister get ready 🥲 self-explanatory
Slide 3: I did a first look with my dad and surprised him by writing a song that incorporated lyrics from songs we grew up singing together. He taught me everything I know about music, so this was such a beautiful, full-circle moment.
Slide 4: Eleanor showing off her flower girl dress to all the bridesmaids
Slide 5: The food being set up for cocktail hour. Terri, Lisa, and Isabelle drove up all the way from Texas to prepare our wedding food for us. They blessed us immensely, and their hard work and preparation meant we had one less thing to worry about with wedding planning. We were so grateful.
Slide 6: Ceremony decor! My mom, grandma, and @ealveriopr dedicated so much time and energy into making all my decor dreams come true. They hand-painted the doors, with Erika even changing her flight to come down earlier and help. These three made everything I imagined come to life, and I could not be more grateful.

Slide 8: Funny moments from the ceremony… flower girling wore Eleanor out and she had to take a nap during the ceremony… she was so out that we couldn’t even hold her up for pictures 💀 also Elijah had a quick garlic knot for sustenance.
