Hard to pinpoint my favorite part of this project. It was a designers dream to work alongside the dreamiest clients that became like family (I volunteer to be their third child 🙋‍♀️). With her eye for artwork and antiques and his eye for design and attention to detail it was a wonderful collaboration. Their personalities and interests shine through on the finished product and that was the ultimate goal. Now I need to come up with excuses to visit!

She’s here.

A little over a year ago, I launched “First Forty” - A Spiritual Formation Cohort. My desire was to revive the faith of stale hearts by offering a daily practice to be exercised in solitude and processed in community.

Essentially, I built the very thing I needed to reduce cognitive load, focus my life, and connect with God and others.

Every day you are offered your “workout” - the music, breath prayers, Scripture to ponder and listening prayer questions. Podcasts and resources enhance the experience. Weekly habit stacking introduces a variety of ancient Spiritual Disciplines over the course of the 40 days.

The most beautiful part of the story is that a beloved member of one of the cohorts is a gifted graphic designer and offered to craft the entire book in trade for coaching, and another friend who runs a non-profit publishing house picked up the book immediately.

This is what “unforced rhythms of grace” feels like.

Grab a friend, or a group of friends and dive in. All profits go to serving under-resourced communities.

Transforming this bathroom into a serene, light-filled retreat was a game changer for our client. The clean lines, soft organic palette and abundance of natural light, created a timeless elegance that feels both modern and calming. It became a space that invites peace and quiet in the midst of a busy life. Sometimes, simplicity (and heated floors) are the ultimate luxury. 🕊️

Form meets function in this beautiful bathroom. Designed for ADA accessibility, this bathroom showcases how a functional bathroom can have incredible form. Often you think of accessibility more in a commercial or institutional setting. It’s important to know they are not mutually exclusive. In fact the addition of a curb less shower entry and wall hung toilet made this space feel more open and inviting than most bathrooms! We think this turned out pretty amazing. What a beautiful project! These beauties don’t happen without collaboration between many minds. We are happy to present this gorgeous kitchen we finished last year with @jillhinsoninteriors. Every element was redesigned and remodeled. We are proud of the results, tell us what you think!

after / during / before - even after almost six years, I am so grateful we opened up this space, put in a larger window and reconfigured the work space/layout of the kitchen. Of course there are some things I would change, and ultimately may down the road, but in terms of layout and function I’d say we got that right.
