Little Egrets in Hyderabad, India.

Hey guys, I've been inactive on this account (@brahad_kokad) for a loooong time! Been busy with Uni and I felt like I've pushed my smartphone macro lens setup to its limits, which I really think is true. I didn't have a camera. So I naturally fell out of touch with macrophotograhy and stuff.

However, I explored a bit of the likes of street photography, and found a deep interest in shooting the mundane. You can check out @brahad.everything for that!

I have good news though, I bought my first kit very recently. It's a Sony a6600 and a sigma 18-50 f/2.8. I'm still far from pursuing wildlife or macro seriously, but I'm one step closer to the dream. I'm gonna try some reverse lens macro soon, I guess.

Here are a few photos which I shot with a rented Sony camera and a 200-600mm a few months ago. I think I have enough content to post here once in a while. But more importantly, I think I'll be more active on this account to look at what you all are posting. I dearly missed looking at what the people I follow are doing, some of you are the best photographers I've ever seen and you constantly keep inspiring me!

LightCraft 2023 was a delightful success despite heavy rains and related logistic issues! It was great to see so many curious freshers try out different lighting setups for the first time. Post processing in Lightroom was fun and a completely new experience for many. Participants learnt various composition tools and how to apply them in real life scenarios.
Here are some pics from the workshop and the second image is one of the many demonstrations we had as part of the workshop, subject being a participant!

We thank @decore_iiith for this awesome collab. Pentaprism is looking forward to organize more such events soon, stay tuned!

As part of Felicity buzz '23, this photowalk organized by Pentaprism was a great opportunity for beginners to get their hands on DSLRs and gather helpful tips from experienced team members to make their everyday photography better. It was a very fun experience and we are looking forward to have more photo walks and workshops soon, stay tuned!

In frame you see @shreyasdefinitelynotfr explaining different angles of shoot.
