2025 was the year I chose myself. I’m deeply proud of the person I’m becoming. This year, I • earned my Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI • won four awards, three of which were grants and scholarships, and the other is recognition with South Side Sanctuary during Open House Chicago • co-founded and designed Braid • built and designed two apps, the Columbia Chronicle and Braid • shipped my portfolio website • led UX/UI, product design, and operations across digital and physical platforms • designed large-scale environmental signage and built Tap to Pay and Notion systems for ANTIX Art Fest • worked with the Chicago Fashion Coalition on graphics and print • was part of major brand commercial shoots • directed, shot, and edited branded video content • started two new ventures • moved into my own apartment I’m still getting started. There are so many accomplishments I didn’t even include here. Follow along to see where I go in the new year.

I’m beyond thrilled to share that TWO of our student design teams from Columbia College Chicago — Vitality and Braid— have been nominated for the International UX Design Awards in the New Talent category!
