I first made this sweater back in early 2025 without ever thinking I’d write a pattern for it (I was so burnt out & really didn’t plan on writing patterns anymore for a while). But!! Then finally had to motivation to make one for myself and, in the meantime, somehow convinced myself to write a pattern for anyone who mentioned they wanted to make one too.

And well lo and behold, my clematis was born <3

swipeswipeswipe! Everything I’ve knit in 2025. It’s been the slowest year since getting back into knitting. But what can I say, life is busy and sometimes the inspo is low. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I did finally learn how to do stranded colour work and I challenged myself to design a piece, so in terms of new skills, I’m more than happy with my progress!

The year started off strong, however I slowed down in the middle and picked it back up at the end, all thanks to a trip to Copenhagen where the knitting bug bit me again! Can’t wait to show you all my WIPs in 2026! 🧶✨

@craft_forward big cathedral knit 🧶🎄✨

had an amazing time attending my first craft forward event! so many crocheters and knitters gathered to make blankets for the unhoused ✨

there was mulled wine, choirs singing christmas carols, and so many lovely people all coming together! a great way to connect and get into the christmas spirit 🎄

I love this design because of its versatility. It can be layered in so many different ways to dress it up or down and the length is totally customisable. The beginner friendly stitch pattern creates a subtle yet gorgeous texture that looks great when knitted with both solid and variegated colourways.

I am so blown away by each and every one of my testers’ versions! 😍 They truly knocked it out of the park and made me love this design even more! Thank you so much to all my testers for your help - now go show them some love!! 🫶🏼
