To Papa,

I hate the world does not prepare us for heartbreaks like this. It is unfathomable to even be typing this caption in this moment. I am still in disbelief and have not fully accepted that I cannot see or share further memories with you.

When we first met in school you were amongst the first of wonderful men who supported me and the business I have developed today. Your support during that period I will forever be grateful for. (Even after you gave up the braids to rock the fade) I’m glad to have blossomed a beautiful friendship with you outside of hair and see you develop into a wonderful man. You are such an amazing human — kind, extremely loyal to those you loved and cared for, incredibly smart, accomplished, and so funny. And that smile… unforgettable. I used to always joke with you that you looked like Morris Chestnut because you really were that handsome.
Unfortunately, There are not enough words in existence to express how your presence and life absolutely illuminated those around you. Nor can any vocabulary depict the hurt and sadness we are all experiencing at this time knowing you have transitioned on—-in what feels like before your time.

Papa thank you for being a blessing and true testament on friendship, brotherhood, loyalty, love and kindness. I hope you knew how loved, valued and appreciated you were.
I will forever cherish the time God allowed us together and will rejoice in your memory. Love you dearly 🤍

Rest peacefully. 🕊️

Sending love and prayers to everyone who knew and loved you. 🙏🏾
