First build took 3 days and ended at the bottom of a pond. Rebuild took 8 hours.

That's the learning curve of bringing custom FPV into a commercial production workflow. Every hour at the bench pays off in the air.

I wanted a freestyle 5” with a gimbal on it. I didn’t really have a reason, other than it was cool and I hadn’t worked with servos yet. 8 months to finish this build. Probably shouldn’t have taken this long, but I had a lot to learn. There were some hiccups with parts selection, multiple cnc orders and tpu pieces- as well as waiting for the gear. But it was worth it imho. Just for getting a grasp finally about servos and voltage regulation (Thanks Bardwell and Painless360). So, here it is. My custom AOS 5, 03 with Medlin gimbal, SpeedyBee F405 V4 stack, side-mounted VAS antennas and Iflight 500mw ELRS & BEC. #custommade #freestylefpv #gimbal #aosfpv #chrisrosserfpv #medlindrones ##medlindrone #videoaerialsystems #dji #iflight #speedybee #joshuabardwell #painless360 #cncdrones #brain3d #racedayquads #progressiverc #defiancerc #pyrodrone #getfpv

Been a hot minute since I've made a post. Check out my OG Lumenier QAV JB with horned arms. This was the first frame I bought to build as my "first" custom drone. It always got put on the backburner as I was learning how to build, though. Well, 40ish drones later... I finally built it. Nothing fancy. Old everything. But she's beautiful.

Frame: Lumenier QAV-s Joshua Bardwell Edition
VTX: Runcam Link/Wasp
Motors: iFlight Xing 2306 - 1700KV
FC: T-Motor Velox F7 SE
ESC: T-Motor V45 V2
RX: Radiomaster XR1
Li-Po: CNHL SpeedyPizza 1350mah
