Mitch and I went to the Hank Snow hometown museum in Liverpool Nova Scotia, and it was eppppppppic!! It’s inside the old train station! Mitch was like “can’t cost more than 5 bucks” and we walked in and asked how much, and the lady was like “5 bucks” and we almost died. Then we noticed that almost nothing was behind glass; you wanna touch Hank Snow’s guitar? Go for it. We were like “wtf IS this???” One exhibit had an old handwritten letter from Hank just sitting on a little podium, and I was like “come on, this thing HAS to be a photocopy” but then I picked it up and tilted it in the light; not a photocopy; just a handwritten letter from Hank Snow. We were losing it!! So then we walk over to the cars exhibit and were quietly discussing whether we thought it was ok to open the car door to get a better look, and the teenager behind the desk hollers over “you can sit in the cars if you want” and we were like “brooooooooooo!!!!” so we went for a little rip in Hank Snow’s Caddy!!!!!! If you’re ever near Liverpool Nova Scotia you GOTTA scope out the Hank Snow museum. SO bangin! SO gangster!
