Light ☀️ or Dark ⚡? My story poll was a total 50/50 fail, so I’m leaving it up to the feed to decide.

I’ve been messing around with depth and glassmorphism to keep things from looking flat and soul-less, regardless of the background color.

1️⃣ Dark mode - feels premium
2️⃣ Light mode - clean, easy, classic

Which side are you on?

💬 Type LIGHT if you’re a morning person, or a good liar
💬 Type DARK if the sun is your natural enemy

Watching my bf play Spiderman atm so the name Miles came naturally 🕸️

Sharing this little UI exploration - what started as an onboarding screen ended in testing out some circular layouts for a messaging concept.

Also, a huge shoutout to @iconlypro for the style inspiration!! 🫶

✨ Fun fact: the “Send” bar is pulled directly from a real app I’m currently working on.

Should I share more of the actual project? Drop a “YES” in the comments! 🚀

Your design probably doesn’t look cranky because you lack talent; it’s usually because the basics got lost somewhere along the way.

When building complex apps, it’s very easy to get buried in features that we forget the users are just looking for a rhythm they can follow without thinking too much.

I’ve deconstructed 5 common mistakes that turn a “powerful” app into a frustrating mess:

1️⃣ The Hierarchy - if you try to make everything loud, nobody ends up being heard.

2️⃣ Colors from 2002 - skip those dated, generic palettes. Today is all about being bold yet simple.

3️⃣ Non-existent UX - if your users feel like they can’t find the “exit”, they’re just going to leave.

4️⃣ Missing States - a button that doesn’t react to a hover or a click is basically a broken promise.

5️⃣ Spacing Chaos - alignment is that invisible rhythm. Bad spacing is just visual noise; good spacing is silence.

Which one of these is the biggest struggle for you right now? Let’s talk in the comments, I’m curious to see what’s bothering you the most. 👇

Love ya 💙
