We are happy to present you the 8 participants of Across in Residence!

This year’s edition of Across is on the theme of the ‘self-initiated practice’ and focuses on young Belgian architects or firms who, in addition to their work in architecture, are developing a complementary practice. During four months, the residents will attend individual and collective work sessions at the D’Ieteren headquarters supervised by architects Pauline Fockedey (Nord) and Theo De Meyer.

Get to know the residents better during three lectures on their work and progress at ULiège, DE SINGEL and D’Ieteren headquarters. You can already sign up for the first lecture at Liège via the link in bio!

Across in Residence is a collaboration between A+ Architecture in Belgium, Vlaams Architectuurinstituut (VAi) and Institut Culturel d’Architecture Wallonie Bruxelles (ICA). With the support of D’Ieteren Immo.

Happy to announce the competition win of Klavertje Vier. The primary school is in dire need of additional class rooms. Our proposal restructures the plan by adding an external corridor to the building envelope. This enables us to reconfigure two floors of the ‘80s wing of the school. It was a great design process, looking forward to the further development with @urban_brussels and the school board. Thank you @bouwmeestermaitrearchitecte
