🌟 YOUR STAGE PRESENCE STARTS BEFORE CENTER STAGE 🌟
šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļø TA PRÉSENCE SCÉNIQUE COMMENCE AVANT MEĢ‚ME D’ARRIVER DEVANT LES JUGES šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļø

(Version šŸ‡«šŸ‡· en commentaires šŸ‘‡šŸ¼)

You don’t start performing when you reach center stage.
You start performing the moment you become visible ✨

When you enter at the back of the stage while another athlete is still performing at the front, it can feel like an ā€œin-betweenā€ moment.
It isn’t.

The judges can see you.
The audience can see you.
And whether consciously or not, you’re already communicating something.

Your posture.
Your presence.
The way you stand.
The few poses you choose to show.
Your gaze.
Your energy.

šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļø But here’s the important part:
Being visible doesn’t mean you need to demand attention.
The athlete at center stage is having her moment.

Good stage awareness also means respecting that space — being present and intentional without trying to out-perform someone whose individual presentation isn’t over yet.

You don’t need constant movement.
You don’t need endless hair flips, arm movements or pose changes just to make sure people are looking at you.
Sometimes, doing less creates far more presence.

That’s why, to me, stage presence isn’t about constantly asking:

ā€œHow can I get people to look at me?ā€

It’s about learning:
when to move, when to hold, when to express… and when to simply be.

Because your presentation doesn’t begin with your first pose in front of the judges.
It begins the moment you step into their field of vision.
And it doesn’t stop until you leave it.

Presence without excess.
Expression without distraction.
Intention in every moment.

That is part of the art of posing. ✨

✨BEYOND THE STAGE ✨

People often think presence begins the moment you step on stage… and ends the moment you walk off.

I see it differently ā˜ŗļø

Presence (or ā€œenergy,ā€ as I like to call it) isn’t something you switch on for the judges.
It isn’t a pose.
It isn’t perfect technique.
It isn’t even performance or a fictive character.

It’s something that already exists within you. ✨

The stage doesn’t suddenly give it to you.
It simply gives you the opportunity to express it.

There isn’t a version of you for the stage…
and another for real life.

There is only one.

The stage is simply one more place where you choose to let that person be seen under the light.

ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ IF WINNING WAS THE GOAL… WE’D ALL QUIT ✨
ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ SI GAGNER ÉTAIT LE SEUL BUT… NOUS NE SERIONS PLUS LAĢ€ ✨

(Version šŸ‡«šŸ‡· en commentaires ci-dessous šŸ‘‡šŸ¼)

If competing was only about winning…

Most of us would stop after our first loss.

Because the truth is simple:
we lose far more often than we win ā˜ŗļøšŸ™

Yet we keep coming back.

Not because we’re chasing medals.
Not because we’re addicted to standing on the top step of a podium.

We come back because somewhere along the way, we fall in love with the process ✨

With becoming stronger.
With learning.
With growing.

A victory teaches you something.

A defeat teaches you something else.

The lesson is different.
But the value is the same.

That’s why I don’t measure a competition by the colour of a medal anymore.

I measure it by the person I become because of it.

And if one day I stop enjoying the journey…
That’s probably the day I’ll stop competing.

Until then…
I’ll keep showing up.
With love and passion ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„
With resilience and gratitude šŸ™
And most importantly…

With joy. šŸ’›
