One of the things we didn’t realise about renovating is that you spend half your time moving building materials and then moving them again. 🥴🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🐕

And here was us thinking we were done with demolition (for now). Making way for tomorrow’s wheelbarrow rally… the concrete is coming. 🤪

After getting a rogue roofer who messed up the first velux roof window we thought… how hard can this actually be!? 🤔
Our fantastic neighbour Sam helped us take it out and put right the first one and understand what we needed to do to fit the rest, since then we have fitted 3 more ourselves with 1 more to go in this phase of the renovation. 😁

If you’re thinking of fitting some, our advice is “do it”! It’s completely changed the feel of our house and makes it feel like we are really connected to the beautiful Welsh countryside we live in.
If these two girls can do it… so can you. 💪

Went to a football ground to ride a bike, catch up with friends and to hear about the amazing work carried out thanks to the millions raised by @cureleukaemia
The cure is so much closer than it ever was and it was heart warming to hear from patients who were so grateful for all the pioneering work being done to cure blood cancers.
I’m so pleased to be a tiny cog capturing images of the fantastic folk who put themselves through hell riding @theroute_cl & @thetour21 and raising millions to help fund the research.

Stepping back, to step forward.
Last of the cement render is finally off the walls, thanks to the guys @jlrenderingltd 🫡 - meaning we can now focus on turning this house into a home. 🥰

Ready for a big push this winter. 💪
