POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

If you’ve been a guest at Prohibited, you already know our front door has been a little moody this past year. Some days it wants a firm hand, and other days a gentle touch is all it takes.

Well, today it decided to practice a little self-care and take the day off entirely. 😂 While it gets some much-needed rest and a glow-up, please feel free to remain comfortably in your car until your appointment time. If no one is already waiting to greet you, a member of our team will come out and let you in!

Thank you for your patience while our door works through its feelings and gets it's much needed R&R (door repairman onsite)🚪

We’re growing—and we are so excited to introduce Brandalynn, the newest Understudy at Prohibited! 🖤🌿

Brandalynn is a Quakertown local and a recent graduate of the Esthetics Program at Bucks County Community College, hosted at Upper Bucks County Technical School. Her love of esthetics comes from the perfect combination of skincare science, visible results, and the relaxation and connection created inside the treatment room.

Before beginning her career in esthetics, Brandalynn built a wonderfully diverse background centered around care, community, and leadership. She has worked as a residential aide in the mental health care industry and has been involved with organizations including PA Eats, the Pink Boots Society, and the Brewers of PA Guild. She’s also a plant and pet lover who brings a naturally warm, caring energy to our team—and now, she’s bringing all of that experience into caring for you!

So, what does it mean to be a Prohibited Understudy?

Brandalynn has completed beauty school and has the green light to begin performing services. Over the next year, she will continue her education alongside our experienced team through observation, guided services, hands-on training, product education, and ongoing assessments.

Her training will include:

✨ Green Envee products and ingredient knowledge
✨ Skin analysis and personalized consultations
✨ Prohibited facial protocols and massage techniques
✨ Facial and body waxing
✨ Sanitation, safety, and guest comfort
✨ Treatment customization and home-care recommendations
✨ Advanced services as her knowledge and technique grow

You can officially book with Brandalynn online now! Her current facial and waxing offerings can be found under our Understudy Menu at special Understudy rates while she continues building her experience and refining her technique.

We are so proud to be growing our team while creating a place where a new esthetician can be supported, educated, and given the opportunity to build a meaningful career right here in Quakertown.

Please help us give Brandalynn a warm welcome to Prohibited! 🖤

Life updates and things I made, or that made me laugh this week in 20 squares. #saltybitches4life 🤣 💜 Thank you @sewcialist_revolution for having Harpies 💎- we learned some entrepreneurial skills in such a fun environment at the 2nd Annual Cosplay & Historical Costume Yard Sale.

My niece made all the jewelry and art, and we worked as a team on packaging and design with Uncle David. Looking forward to doing another pop up in warmer weather! If you have a low-key kid-friendly event this spring, let me know! She would like to do another one. 😃

She also helped me color coordinate my school binder…. 💞

f*U*Ck 🧊 KIDS. The Monks. The Quakers. The fucking MONKS ARE WALKING FOR AMERICA. This outrage has always been needed. Now can all of us who agree this should NEVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE work together to disassemble the oppressive systems and rebuild?

It’s been an educational few months. Continuing to practice AND, and NO. Less than a week until I go back to school, this time with actual coping skills I've acquired in the last twenty years, real support and *SOME* understanding of my brain. #thisis40

AND I thought last years pick was bland. IM CALLING THIS COLOR PETTY MAYONNAISE.

Working on some me stuff today. Enjoying time with the cats, my digital #palian Farm, and later some friends.

Growth hasn’t been linear. Perfection is a trap. To everyone else who’s holding onto heavy stuff. Here’s your permission to feel it if you want to. To say it, to name it, in whatever capacity you need.

Life is not perfect, and social media, and my presence on it hasn’t always shown that. In the last ten years, I’ve done my best to represent myself as myself as I got to meet the me of the moment in each iteration. Lord have I been shocked and baffled too. 🤣 but also proud, and patient.

I still maintain our stories are ours, and I support anyone struggling with sharing, being, holding. It wasn’t your fault. You aren’t bad. You aren’t damaged. You need some help, and that’s ok. Asking for help IS NOT WEAKNESS OR IMPERFECTION. struggling in silence is a sentence still. I see you. And I’m here.

If you’re still here, thank you. I appreciate you. 💕 If you’re new, welcome. I don’t make money here, I don’t have a product I’m selling, it’s just my space. Be respectful.
