When I started in music, I did all the mastering myself. Soon labels asked to master theirs, and I asked myself "why not get further into it?"

As an extension of the vastness of the blue that I experienced while recording and composing the album Miraggi with @davidaugustx , it came naturally to me to translate the whispers of the wind and the gurgling of the rocks into the imagery of words, along with all the emotions that were part of our experience in Argentario in June 2025.

These writings, comprising five short poems and an introduction, are included on the inner sleeve of the vinyl record, alongside a selection of photos. Together with the music, these elements offer a comprehensive insight into the album.

Although writing has always been part of my artistic and personal practice, remaining deeply intimate and therefore private, it is with this work that I have felt able to share my written thoughts publicly for the first time.

I hope you will allow yourself a moment to read these writings while listening to the music, to let yourself be carried away into a world of miraggi lontani and ritmi marini.

Coco Maria joins the party at Dingo festival! Coco’s free spirited record bag of Latin jems grace us this October. Some of Europes most vibrant festivals have hosted Coco and her radio contributions include the likes of Worldwide FM (Gilles Petersons’ radio station), weekly shows on NTS and an amazing deep dive of Latin percussion at 180 Studios, London through the incredible OJAS listening room system by Brooklyn-based sound designer Devon Turnbull.

Coco’s own imprint Club Coco, originally a series from Les Disques Bongo Joe came into its own last year with the release of “Club Coco (New Dimensions In Latin Music)”. Charting a journey through contemporary cumbia from artists breathing new life into the genre originally conceived in Columbia at the end of the 19th century.

Ten years of “Priestess” this year, meaning ten years of releasing music independently on Clarity Recordings. This tune will always be a special one. Still in print, still selling 12”s. Legendary handclap crew.

Water from Mars is out!
The album has landed on all digital platforms yesterday and I’m still buzzing.

What to expect?
sci-fi jazz, ambient dub, all-instrumental kosmische, hard & soft lounge, spaced for all tastes. Monolithic saxophones waves, synth of all kinds, Y2K style machines , weird obvious sounds from what’s left of us in space.
I’ve traveled through, came back, thirsty…
