Husband to @nellg father of FOUR boys, follower of Jesus… ready for anything! 😎🤙
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
It’s a sad day here on earth.
We’ve lost a true friend, an amazing husband to Jamie, Rachelle and Brandon’s dad, and a grandpa to his 9 grands.

More than 25 years ago, Scott and Jamie came into our lives. What a gift that was. ❤️

Scott left this earth far too soon. We will miss him deeply, but I can picture him riding Harley‘s in heaven with Jesus.

Scott, you are loved, respected, honored, and missed beyond words.

HAVE YOU BEEN TOLERATING JEZEBEL?

There comes a moment when God’s people must stop
tolerating what God has called us to confront.

We will no longer make peace with manipulation.
We will no longer bow to intimidation.
We will no longer compromise truth for the sake of comfort.

But the hour is calling the Church back to holiness, discernment, obedience, and the fear of the Lord.

“You tolerate that woman Jezebel…” — Revelation 2:20

What a WEEK!❤️‍🔥

Just spent the past week in Orange County with our Lead Pastors of @mercyculture and I’m leaving so grateful!

I have to honor my Senior Pastor and one of my best friends, @landonaschott. I love you!!! Your leadership has impacted my life in more ways than I could ever explain.

Your vision inspires me. Your BIG dreams inspire me. Your pursuit of God inspires me. But honestly, your private life inspires me WAY more than your public life. I’ve had a front row seat for years and I’ve watched the cost. I’ve watched you pursue God when nobody was watching. I’m grateful I get to call you my pastor and my friend.

And MY PASTOR BROTHERS! Man I love these men. These guys have laid down A LOT to serve the Church, serve people and pursue God at whatever cost. I honor every single one of them. I’m grateful I get to run with you guys.

And @fadicheikha! I’m so grateful God brought you into my life and into all of our lives. You’ve been such a gift of JOY and so much more. Your friendship, your heart, your love for people… our lives are genuinely better with you in them. Love you!

We laughed A LOT, talked, dreamed, prayed, bonded and just had a BLAST together.

I sit back and think about what God has done…

I had the honor of being there at the beginning as one of the founding pastors and founding elders of Mercy Culture Church @mercyculture And now to watch what God has built… campuses, pastors, thousands of people being impacted across the nation… it honestly blows my mind.

ONLY GOD.

I’m so thankful for this season. What a privilege to build the Church of Jesus with people you genuinely love. ❤️‍🔥

You can be gifted and unhealthy.
You can be anointed and exhausted.
You can build something that is growing while something inside of you is dying.

Your gift can open doors that your health cannot sustain.

I’m realizing more than ever that isolation is expensive in leadership.

Pastors need pastors.
Leaders need leaders.
Strong people need safe people.
And even those who carry others need somewhere they can put the weight down.

Who would’ve thought that just three months after laying down my title as Senior Leader and the campuses we spent years building, I’d be sitting in a room like this—surrounded by pastors, brothers, leaders, and friends, learning what it really means to run together.

My first Pastors Retreat with Mercy Culture gave me a lot to reflect on.

For years, I knew how to carry weight.
But I’m learning that healthy leadership is not just about how much you can carry.

It’s also about whether you have people around you who can help you steward the person carrying it.

I’m becoming more convinced of this:

Healthy leaders build healthy churches.
Healthy pastors help build healthy people.
And healthy leadership requires healthy relationships.

I’m so grateful for my Pastor @landonaschott who is stewarding one of the healthiest churches in the world. Building and equipping a power house team of pastors. Grateful for our house of @mercyculture

To the men I had the privilege to do life with this week…LETS RUN! LETS WAGE WAR! LETS BUILD!
