Meant to post this earlier but I fell asleep all day. I will forever be in awe of my friend @cowboy.80_ and @forthefreaksbooking — I said North Carolina DIY in the video but it’s really all of CAROLINA that you’ve made your playground that we all get to share in. The FTF team pulled off another incredible festival and handled the heat, the chaos, and the foolery with a lot of grace and care for the people who attended. Big shout out to @bonenailedhunt - the realest one. There’s not enough to write or say to capture what it feels like to be bunked up with your best friends for 2 days in a fairytale world of music, art, love, friendship, and a whole lot of fun. It’s an incredible joy to get to watch so many bands who get better and better every time I see them and see so many bands I have never even heard. That’s a wild thing. And to get to be in the same place with HC legends where the environment lends us to all just being people together, bonding over this thing we all love so much, is a truly beautiful thing. Finally, to have had the opportunity to play our first @rootofevilnc show on night 1 was a gift that can never be repaid. That will stay with me forever. Thank you again, Ethan, for trusting us to take that spot. Thank you to our friends who went off like it was the last time they’d ever get to - I’ve never felt a strength like that. I am so grateful and full of joy. So, onward to OCTOBER BABYYYY - see you all soon. All my love.
