KC Solo Event 2

Following a very rainy Event 1, I got to see what the dry traction is like and where the limits are. Man this thing will rotate the rear, but I’ll need to learn how of control that if I want to get faster. She really came loose in pic 2 where I’m up on 3 wheels. :)

Overall a bit slower vs the pack than Event 1, but I had steady improvements with each run and am getting more familiar with how to be consistently swift.

Again, shoutout to @brandon.jx for these photos, and to all the photographers for taking the time to shoot, edit, and share racing photos.

KC Solo Event 1

It was WET. Racing in the rain is actually pretty fun, and autocross is a great place to safely figure out where the limits of traction are. My goals were to have fun and be functional, and I ended up driving well enough for 2nd in the Novice class while having a blast.

Shoutout to @brandon.jx for standing out in the rain and taking great shots. As someone who has done their fair share of shooting and sharing photos, it was nice being on the other side of the lens for once.

One thing I love about @coffeeandcameraskc meet ups is that there are so many Leica and Fujifilm (poorman’s Leica) users! Most wedding photographers in KC are missing out on the best camera systems~ 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣
