We had the best weekend in #Yosemite. 20 miles of hikes across North Dome and up to Vernal and Nevada Falls. It is quiet and pristine and restorative.
Also, apparently the pro-tip if you don’t have school-age kids is to come the weekend after schools start again at the end of summer. Light crowds, adequate parking, open trails.

Flying back to LA today for what will be my last trip doing hair… and honestly, it still doesn’t feel real.

Ive been doing hair in LA since I was 23, and somewhere along the way so many of my clients became some of my closest friends. Looking back, I’m just incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with your hair, listened to my crazy ideas, shared your lives with me, and made every trip back something I looked forward to.

I haven’t had a chance to tell everyone yet, but I wanted to say thank you. I’m really going to miss all of you.

I’ll be in town for the next two weeks and still have a few openings. I’d love to see as many of you as I can one last time before I close out this chapter.

LA has been such a huge part of my life, and even though I am starting a new chapter, it’ll always feel like a second home because of the people in it.
Love you guys. ❤️

A fever dream.

Our euphoric weekend in the desert was beyond anything we imagined or can describe. You can plan every detail of the music and the flowers - and still be completely blind-sided by the overwhelming love of the very best people on God’s green earth. The tears and laughter, all-encompassing joy, and the deep embrace of the long journey to ourselves.
