I have found that men are at their best selves when they’re surrounded by family and friends that motivate, inspire and challenge them to move, become and do more!!! A strong community will provide the necessities for men to grow spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. What say you? 📽️📸 @ashleyslemard #men #fitness #community #growth #development

There are some experiences that remind you how much larger the world is than your everyday routine. I had the privilege of attending a reception aboard the @nimitz_cvn68, the first U.S. aircraft carrier to visit Jamaica. Standing on one of the largest warships in the world and learning more about its mission, operations, and the partnerships that help strengthen security and cooperation across our region was fascinating. As a marketer and storyteller, I am always drawn to moments where people, cultures, and institutions come together around a shared vision. Beyond the size of the vessel and the impressive technology on board, what stood out most was the importance of collaboration, diplomacy, and the relationships that continue to be built between Jamaica and the United States. I am especially grateful to the @usembassyja for the invitation. Experiences like these provide a unique perspective that I can share with my community and remind me of the power of connection, dialogue, and mutual understanding. Thank you to everyone involved in making this historic visit possible. 🇯🇲\ /🇺🇸 #USSNimitz #Jamaica #Leadership #Diplomacy #RegionalCooperation

people speak about their village all the time, but let me introduce you my COUNTRY. my mother, who has never left my side and encouraged me to push through even though i wanted to give up numerous times, my godfather, who has been to and screamed at every graduation since basic school, my sister Ashley, who is literally the bench to my batty, my best friends Dedrea & Cheyenne, who knew my struggles with balancing full time school & full time jobs and continuously encouraged me and of course the friends i met along the way, who literally cannot get rid of me no matter how hard they try, Brandon, Tracey, Rashida, Dejanee, Sigare, Travaro, Kentburn & Alec! surely there are many more names i’d love to mention because my support system is huge, but this caption would never end. however, there’s a special thank you i would like to say to Nekeyah Martin (@scenek.m) for keeping me sane throughout this entire journey. Nekeyah would help me study, give me notes whenever i fall short (i always do), bring a calculator for me during exams EVERY SINGLE TIME and if we fail, we would go at it again the next semester. all of these people saw something in me and believed in me. if it wasn’t for them, i would not be here and i just want them and everyone else to know that i love them endlessly 🤍🤍
