Sicily part I

“Hoping that tomorrow will arrive quickly
And that every thought will vanish
Allowing the passing of the time
To make everything a little bit more clear
Because our life at the bottom
Is nothing more than an Eternal moment
A moment between me and you”

Sono americano, ma le mie radici sono in Sicilia.

Love you guys @brandondangelo @martinaadangelo

“That’s why we say we’re the poor righteous teachers, not because we poor, but because we teach…the poor”

-Method man

Put a price on time rich man. I know how I’d spend mine.

Method man said “our minds are our planets because that’s where we plan, it.”

The unknown is unplanned and that’s how I enjoy it.

Whats left to say when the words have run out? Maybe we don’t. Maybe the silence is loud enough. Maybe we feel the wind instead of hear it. Maybe we ponder existence instead of fear it. Maybe we let go of expectations and really just live it. Maybe class is in session and I’m hear to show it. There’s nothing more beautiful, than how you exist in this moment.

Thanks for capturing it brotha

At 21, I bought my first motorcycle. A 2008 Suzuki Blvd. I took it from New York to Houston Texas in 3 days. This would be the first of many.

The first cross country, 8 days, on a 2020 Heritage Softail, New York to California. The second, 11 days, on a 2021 Road glide, San Diego to New York. The third, 21 days, on a 1997 Wide glide, San Diego to New York.

This is the beginning of the fourth. The destination is set. A two month journey to Prudhoe bay Alaska, and back again. The Arctic Circle is the end to one journey and the beginning of another. Pan-American Highway is next.

The road less traveled is filled with twist and turns. The man who left will not be the same one who returns. Don’t take my word for it. We only have so much time.

Follow along for the journey.

Dear Death,

I’m laying outside on my porch. There’s a bluebird who sits with me. I open up my heart and he flys out,
and sits in the trees.
He sings to me sometimes
Sometimes he glides and catches the breeze
but he always comes back to me.

But he didn’t this time
I wonder where he’s been.
I wonder whose heart he’s been sitting in.
There was a bluebird who sat inside of my chest
And now I miss him.

The swallows on my hips flew away too.
They’re helping grandma get home. I wonder if they took a detour and flew around the world.
I’m crying now. I think this poem is grief in disguise.

The one thing most yoga teachers won’t tell you about feeling tight after 45 👇

That tightness you feel in your hips, hamstrings, and shoulders?

It’s probably not flexibility you’re missing.

It’s strength.

After 45, hormonal shifts — particularly the drop in estrogen — cause muscle tissue to lose density faster than it did before. When the muscles surrounding a joint get weaker, the joint itself feels restricted. Unstable. Stiff.

So we stretch harder. Hold longer. Push deeper.

And the joint feels worse.

Here’s what actually works: building strength around the joint first — so your connective tissue has real muscular support — and then using yin-based work to stimulate the deeper layers of fascia and cartilage that need their own specific kind of attention.

This is the core shift inside the Yoga Longevity Method: Joint Health Reset Part 1.

Not more effort. A different kind of effort — one your body in midlife can actually use.

Save this post if it landed. Questions about what this looks like in practice — drop them below or DM me. 🙏
