Asian Football Awards 2026: 6th Edition - fabulously hosted by @skysports_sheth 🫡

Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees. It’s a huge credit to all the hard work you put in. The recognition is well deserved 🏆

Special mention and congratulations to @mal_1632 for being awarded the South Asian Pioneer Award 🏆
An absolute trailblazer for our community with over 500 senior professional appearances.

Thank you to @baljitrihal and @jasjassal01 for their continued hard work in organising the awards over the years. It’s a huge feat and you should be proud. Because we all are. The representation these awards enable, makes a huge impact in the mainstream space and that’s a credit to all of your immense work behind the scenes.
A massive well done to you guys and your team for putting on an amazing evening.

I followed my red thread to the Asian Football Awards 2026

And then I passed it on. 🔴🧵📕

Into the hands of people who live these stories, carry them, shape them… and might see something of themselves in Following the Red Thread.

Navjot Sawhney @thewashingmachineproject Mal Singh Benning. Brandon Singh Khela. Dal Singh Darroch @dal_darroch. @englandfootball . Amrit Singh Mann. @skysports Dharmesh Sheth. The @britasiatv team at Syon Park and the legendary Taj @punjab2000 for the 26 years of documenting stories that matter from day 1.

Different journeys. Different rooms. Same thread.

Football. Identity. Purpose. Belonging. Be like water

And a big shout out to Baljit Rehal and Jas Jassal, and the team behind the Asian Football Awards, for creating the room in the first place.

I guess, sometimes a story travels simply because it reaches the right hands.
