Today was my first Latin ballroom competition! ✨💃

Such an exciting day competing at the San Francisco Autumn Dance Classic! 🍂

10 heats of International Latin across the Closed Silver and Closed Gold levels — Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive! I’m so happy to have earned nine 1st-place finishes and one 2nd-place finish! 🏆

After just nine months of ballroom training, it’s been so exciting to challenge myself and explore a completely new side of dance. So much to learn, and I’m loving every minute of it!

A special thank you to my amazing coach, Timea @sizzlinglatin_dancestudio for your guidance, wisdom, encouragement, and for helping me grow in such a short time!

Thank you @brandonleff for igniting the ballroom fire in me this past year on @ladancemagic Company! And to @kailynnfortner for this gorgeous custom costume, shoes and accessories to help me look and feel the part today! 🤩

Ballroom is an entirely new world for me but I am so grateful for this positive first experience and can’t wait for what’s to come!

I had SO much fun at the DDI convention! I met awesome people, received very useful and important tips and critiques, and had the absolute best time at the one and only Debbie Dance Intensive! I got called out in six of the eleven classes over the weekend including Hiphop, Jazz twice, ballroom twice, and tap. I also got a full scholarship to a regional LA Dance Magic convention! In all, I had the perfect weekend at DDI. Thank you for giving me such a fun time!!!

HOLLYWOOD BOWL DEBUT !!

Earlier this summer, I had the honor of performing in The Bowl’s Opening Night of their 2026-27 season titled “Best of Broadway.” It was an absolute dream and such a surreal experience getting to perform at such a legendary venue in front of an audience of 17,000 people. The energy was unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with @msleasalonga, @hallebailey, @darrencriss, @reneeelisegoldsberry, and @brianstokesm — their performances stirred my soul in a way that I can only describe as magical. Additionally, being brought together with so many other incredible artists filled my heart with so much love and fulfillment knowing that we created something truly so riveting and special. It’s opportunities like this one that reminds me how grateful I am that I get to do this. Cannot wait to be back on that stage soon!!

I cannot thank @spencerliff enough and @d8clarice for the opportunity and for bringing me on to be a part of this iconic night. And your costume design Spencer?!?! You are everything!!

I am so incredibly honored and beyond excited to officially announce that I’ve been selected as a Junior Company Member for the upcoming LADM season! 💜🔥

From a nervous seven-year-old to this exact moment—every single drop of sweat, late-night rehearsal, and extra stretch was completely worth it.

To the amazing LADM staff and faculty: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for pushing me past my limits, and for believing in me before I even believed in myself. I promise to work harder than ever this season and soak up every ounce of knowledge!

And of course, thank you to my amazing studio @progressionspa_dance 🖤❤️ because without you, this never would have came to be. The best teachers, staff, and absolute best director, Mrs. Kim.

JumpStart 2026 - the most magical

There was something in the energy from the very first class, so much warmth, positivity and genuine love for dance. Our faculty brought it all, and that energy radiated through every room and every dancer.

We watched learning happen. Growth happen. Achievements happen.

Nerves turned into confidence🩵
New techniques clicked💜
New tricks were unlocked🩷
Dancers pushed beyond what they thought they could do🤍
New emotions were discovered through movement & Friendships were made.💜

And so many moments reminded us exactly why we created JumpStart in the first place.

To our incredible faculty 🫶🏻 thank you. Your classes were perfection, your energy was infectious and your inspiration was endless. Thank you for pouring so much into every dancer who stepped into your room.

To our Assistants: no one does it better. 💜 You represented JumpStart and Elite with excitement, commitment, professionalism and class. We couldn’t be prouder of the example you set all weekend long.

To our Movement Team: thank you for being the smiling faces, the hype crew, the helping hands and the energy in every room. You brought everything you had to the dance floor and helped make this weekend what it was.

And to every dancer and dance family who joined us thank you for trusting us, showing up ready to learn and bringing your incredible energy with you. Whether this was your first JumpStart or you’ve grown up with us, you are part of what makes this weekend so special.
