AWP 2025 in LA is one to remember! From sharing the stage with 20 other NEA recipients to seeing friends to eating out and to exploring the town. Until next year!

Thank you to everyone who made it to our fire benefit event last week! 🕊️ We’re so happy to announce that we raised over $600 to donate to families affected by the Eaton fires who have yet to reach 20% of their GoFundMe goals 🫶

Thank you readers for contributing to this special night, thank you @thesocialclubla for your gorgeous space, and of course thank you @carcrashcollective for the collab of the century ❤️

Thank you, Tin House 📚 A long weekend leading my brilliant nonfiction workshop, giving a lecture on speculative nonfiction, deep conversations, good meals with good people, readings, and, of course, karaoke! An honor to be back in this very special community of writers for the first time as Autumn Workshop faculty. @tin_house

I can’t believe August is almost over. I can’t believe LAMBDA was a month ago (missing my non fiction cohort). I can’t believe I’m back in the classroom. I can’t believe Tia Z passed away 6 months ago. I still can’t believe I have a book out & that it has brought me so many opportunities/community. Ohh what a rollercoaster. I’m just drifting. #augustrecap

Help @bunkerprojects buy their home!!

I’m very grateful to bunker and @brandonsward for this review of my show at @cocohunday🤍. It’s only in these last years that I’ve decided to make art, it was very special and encouraging for me to see reviews like this one.

Bunker is currently doing a fundraiser to buy the space where they have been working for several years and they are on a DEADLINE. Help them be a platform for artists like me. Go to @bunkerprojects to donate and you can read the full review in my bio.
